If You Believe It, It Will Come


Let’s talk about the ABCs of LOA (Law of Attraction.) When you Appreciate It and then Believe It, It will Come.

When I was first introduced to the Law of Attraction (LOA) I was totally smitten. The idea of creating my life through appreciation and attraction was so intriguing. So I decided to try it out in my daily life. I would sit and appreciate the intricate beauty of orange Monarch butterflies and yellow Tiger butterflies. Or, I would admire happy little green grasshoppers bouncing in the breeze. Pretty soon these beauties followed me everywhere. (And still do.)

One fine day, I decided to take my favorite LOA game into a light-hearted round of miniature golf at the Jersey Shore. This time, I made up my mind to win the game. I decided, I intended. And then … I enjoyed the day. I appreciated the details of each hole. I laughed with my friends. I breathed the sweet, salty sea air. I enjoyed my every body movement. I played every mental memory I could of having fun and winning golf. I kept it soft and relaxed as I played from the wind mill to the water break. And in a soft-focused state, I inched closer to the prize. At one point, I felt myself “pushing.” I think it was then that an elegant lady bug landed on my score card. She was so charming and tiny. I admired her shiny, red wings with distinct black dots. I relaxed again, remembering all those butterflies and grasshoppers answering my call. And I thought…of course, things DO go my way.

I did win the miniature golf, which was a nice confirmation that I do choose the outcomes in my life. But it is the ladybug moment that I recall with a full-heart and a little tear my eye. That was when I realized that I had created a momentum, a communication line, a solid belief in LOA. That little lady bug was like Source saying, “Come this way…”

And the sweetness of this story continues. For when we returned to our B&B later that evening, the hostess met us at the door. And she said to me: “I don’t know why, but I feel like I should give you this.” It was a tiny wooden ladybug paper-clip.

To this day I see ladybugs, butterflies and grasshoppers as indicators of LOA and Source dancing though life with me. I trust completely in the steady and accurate response of LOA to my vibrational signals.

Now, it is my hope that you are inspired to choose light-hearted subjects to focus, amplify and attract in your life. It is my powerful intention that you, too, experience the brilliant moments of dancing with LOA.

And I look forward to the day that you write me and tell me of your experience of something as joyous as this last segment of the story:

For our most recent anniversary, John and I visited the place where we wed. It had been over ten years since I first heard of LOA, having danced many dances. However, what we saw that day took our breath away. Hundreds and hundreds of ladybugs filled the air, lighted on our bodies and covered the walls of the building, as if to say, “Happy Anniversary! We love sharing this dance of life with you.”

There we were, two happy people in a beautiful forest, next to a placid lake, dancing and soaring with LOA ladybugs.

If You Believe It, It Will Come. It will most definitely come!
